Livestock Fencing Workshop

Hosted by UVM Extension Center for Sustainable Agriculture, join our regional Gallagher representative in a workshop for farmers covering the components of power fencing systems:

  • fence options and selections, common issues to avoid

  • understanding power fence system resistance and conductivity

  • electric fence concepts and troubleshooting

  • proper grounding

  • post considerations for permanent applications

  • wire selection for electrified and non-electrified systems

  • bracing science

  • temporary fences

This workshop will be an outdoors, hands-on demonstration.
