We sell: Our specialty is Animal Welfare Approved, 100% Grassfed lamb, mutton, and sheepskins. We also raise beef, meat chickens, and laying hens.

Farm Description: Scuttleship farm is built on the principles of regenerative agriculture, producing protein while capturing carbon, improving water filtration, and increasing biodiversity. We specialize in meat, produced ethically and naturally, with love for the animals and respect for the environment. All of our products are made from animals that spend their lives on pasture and are allowed to live according to their instincts. By following grazing patterns that mimic natural animal disturbance, we work with the environment to farm without destroying the complex ecosystem services that are provided by well-tended land.

We move our livestock daily to fresh pasture, allowing them to densely graze a small area for a short period of time before being moved to another section of the field.This affords the pasture "rest periods" during which the grass has time to re-grow, and ensures that our herd is always on the freshest, cleanest, and most nutritious pasture available.

With each grazing, the grasses and legumes in our fields send their roots deeper and deeper into the soil, forming a thick sod. The trampling of our animals hooves works organic matter into the soil and their movement naturally spreads manure, replacing high-quality nutrients in the grazed area.
