Keynote speaker Jason Rowntree will present Saturday, January 18, 2020 on current research findings about the role of grazing livestock in mitigating climate change and sequestering carbon on farms in the Northern US.  Other workshop topics include hay field renovation, beef profitability, sheep and cattle genetics, and custom grazing.

Friday Morning: Pasture Pork Intensive or Cattle Winter Housing Farm Tour
Friday Afternoon: Advanced Sheep Genetics or Cattle Genetics Discussion and the Ins and Outs of Custom Grazing (covering beef, dairy and small ruminants)
Saturday: 14 workshops and presentations including Jason Rowntree’s keynote. Other workshop topics include hay field renovation, beef profitability, Mig vs Mob grazing, small ruminant parasite prevention, payment for ecosystem services, LEAN farming, video marketing, agroforestry, farm profitability tools, on-farm slaughter, niche poultry products and plenty of opportunity to enjoy networking with fellow farmers.

Special Opportunity the 2 Days Before the Conference: The 2020 Northeast Pasture Consortium annual meeting will be held on January 15 and 16, 2020, at the Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, VT. Farmers, researchers, and agricultural service providers welcome.

The full conference registration fee for all public sector members attending is $250. Farmer registration is $75. This includes the cost of an enhanced continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch for each of the two days of the meeting and evening dinner on January 15. Register online no later than January 13, 2020.
